Try This Exercise For Hip Pain!

Updated: Oct 7

Do you get pain in the front of your hip? Do you sit at a desk all day? How about low back pain? Try this exercise!

This exercise is great to help fix tight hip flexors, the muscles that sit in front of your hip. These muscles become short, the longer you sit. This results in pain, discomfort, and irritation. They are also neglected muscles because they don’t get trained well, especially in runners.

This is a simple way to loosen up the hip flexor muscles. It is also great for low back pain too! Let’s teach you how to do this exercise. Grab a chair. Your painful hip is straight on the floor. Your non-painful side is propped up on the chair. Put your hand on your low back, painful side. Now push your hips forward, then bend backward. Hold this position for 1-2 seconds, then restart. Repeat 10x and then switch sides. We recommend doing this 2-3x per day.
