Great Exercise for the Hips!

Updated: Aug 14

Do you have pain in the hips? Do your hips get achy when you sit or stand too long? Do your hips feel tight? Try this exercise to strengthen your hips and butt, specifically your Gluteus Medius and Gluteus Minimus muscles!

1. Stack your legs on top of one another

2. Pull your legs up so there is a 45-degree angle in your knees - This should make your ankles, knees, and hips in a straight line. If not, adjust accordingly

3. From here, raise your top knee up towards the ceiling, while keeping the feet together.

4. Return to the starting position and repeat 10 times.

5. Flip over and perform the same exercise on the opposite side.

You can make this exercise harder by adding a resistance band above your knees.
